As the Gaming Technology Developer at Children's Hospital Colorado, I develop games to help improve the hospital experience for patients. I primarily create XR games that serve a variety of clinical purposes, such as distraction during procedures or transport, physical therapy, social-emotional support, and to provide a temporary escape from the hospital.
I am also a PhD student in the Computer Graphics and VR Lab at the University of Colorado Denver. My research involves using thermal imaging for breathing analysis, and applying this respiratory analysis technique in VR.
In my free time I like to play with my two daughters, play guitar and ukulele, knit, ride bike, ride horses, play video games, and work on hobby electronics and programming projects!
